Physics

Physics courses can be beneficial as preparation for many careers,
including life-science professions like pharmacology and medicine.
Physics is a natural science centered on understanding how energy matter interact.
Many careers strongly rely on a physics-related degree. For many career opportunities,
such as technician jobs, engineering, science education, architects and computer jobs,
knowledge of physics is a major requirement.

Education
Individuals with degrees in physics can pursue a variety of teaching roles and positions,
such as in elementary school through high school, community colleges and universities.
An individual with an undergraduate degree in physics is well suited for teaching grade school and high school.
Individuals with graduate degrees or doctoral degrees in physics are well-suited for university studies.

Laboratory Technician
Physics degrees lend themselves well to laboratory technician jobs,
especially in industry and government applications.
Individuals with physics degrees can hold many different technical jobs
such as in scientific instrument operation, radiation monitoring, meteorology studies,
electrical power plant operations and assistance in research and development.
The type of degree that an individual holds will directly affect what positions are available to him.
Undergraduate degrees allow people to pursue entry-level laboratory assistant positions,
while bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees increase the likelihood of greater responsibility,
advanced roles and high-level job titles.

Physics Research
Physics researchers and research assistants work to learn new things about physics,
creating and testing theories in myriad different areas of physics.
Specific areas of research may include nuclear physics, geophysics, computational physics,
optical physics, atomic physics, molecular physics, astronomy, space physics and astrophysics.
Research assistants can work in a variety of different jobs at universities and in private labs.

Computer Science
Physics degrees work well in conjunction with computer science degrees.
Individuals with computer science training and a degree in physics can work in specialized professions
such as computer programming,
aircraft design, and in military design where they can put their problem-solving,
reasoning and programming skills to work. Physics graduates are especially well
suited for government jobs and industrial jobs where logical and creative reasoning is necessary.

The postgraduate level program in Physics is offered to interested aspirants in colleges all over India.
The eligibility needed by an aspirant to get admission into this Masters level
program is a graduate level degree in the allied field.
