List of MBA Entrance Exams;

Admission to MBA and PGDM courses is done through an entrance exam, group discussion and interview process. 
There are nation-wide entrance exams conducted by IIM’s, 
All India Management Association as well as Association of Management Schools in India. 
In addition to these national exams, there are state level exams too conducted by universities and colleges for admission.

Candidates with a degree in any discipline and final year students awaiting results can take the test. 
Most of these tests are objective type covering areas of problem solving, verbal ability, 
reading comprehension, logical reasoning and data interpretation. 
The number of questions and patterns vary every year. 
Those who clear the cutoffs in the tests will be later called for group discussions and personal interviews. 
Some institutes conduct group tasks too. There are many coaching centers spread all over India, who guides and trains students on these MBA entrance exams. 
Notification of MBA entrance exams come in most of the leading national and local dailies as well as other employment newsletters.

CAT (Common Admission Test) –IIMs conduct the CAT. 
Other than the IIMS, some other B-schools that take CAT scores are 
NIRMA, MICA, the NITs, IMT Ghaziabad, SP Jain Mumbai, etc. 
XAT (Xavier Admission Test) – Xavier Business schools conduct XAT. XLRI, Jamshedpur,

Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) – The IITs conduct JMET.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) – The Symbiosis Institutes conduct SNAP. 
The major b-schools that take SNAP scores are SCMHRD, SIBM, SIIB, SITM, etc. 
AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) – The Association of Indian Management Schools conducts the ATMA. 
Bangalore School of Business, Delhi Business School, IBA Noida, IILM Gurgaon, ISM Kolkata, IIMS Pune, Alliance Business School Bangalore, etc. 
Common Entrance Test (CET) – The test is for those who are looking for admissions to colleges like 
KJ Somaiya, Wellingkar, Sydenham, etc. in Maharashtra. 
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) – All India Management Aptitude Testing Service, Delhi conducts the MAT. 
This exam is usually conducted four times a year. The AIMA centers for Management Education across the country accept MAT scores.
There are certain business schools that conduct their own entrance exam. NMIMS conducts the NMAT. Other top b schools that do so are FMS, IIFT, TISS, etc.
